![]() Use the walls to go faster with wall ride and to get back to your goal faster or follow your ball after your lifted it. It's ok, don't beat yourself up over it, try to get back in the game, and if someone else messes up don't give them shit, it won't help anyone, a simple "np" or "shit happens" and back to the game. The ball is wonky as fuck, sometimes some unlucky shit happens, sometimes some unreal things happen, sometimes you will just mess up. When players get a bit better they will try to counter your airshots, so keep an eye out and if you see someone jump in front of you, just let the ball on the ground. It does not mean that you should never try to pass/score shooting the ball directly on the ground. Air shots/passes are the way to go most of the time (because they are harder to counter, and goalie is more likely to mess up the coordination to stop the ball). ![]() If on top of that you are the one that messes up, you will look like a complete idiot, and your teammates will be annoyed. Don't play "volleyball" with the enemy goal, when you essentially try to score directly from your own goal into his and vice versa, your teammates will get bored/pissed and at some point someone is going to mess up. Avoid passing to your own goal, (or if you really feel that you have to don't aim directly at the goal) odds are he will be surprised, especially if an opponent is close to the ball too and he is anticipating his shot, and it can easily end up with a goal for the enemy team. Try to avoid 2 ults at the same time, as it tends to mess up things.į. One decent strat is to first aim for the wall, to bait the opponents boops (as you can boop as much as you want during ult), get the ball back and shoot. TIMING is key here, if you see that the enemy goalie will take a bit of time to get to the ball (and possibly missed a boop) rush in, and try to score. Why ? You are much more faster and have less control, meaning rushing to save a ball will probably end in a miss and possibly in a goal for the enemy team, and you will waste your ult. Ults are much more efficient for attacking purposes than for defending. Calm the ball down and choose where you want to shoot.Į. ![]() Keep an eye on your opponents and friends, pay attention to sound to hear who is around you. Just because the ball comes to you it does not mean you need to shoot it back ASAP, especially if you are goalie. Control your ball A.K.A CALM THE FUCK DOWN. ![]() Also to defend if you are out of boop, that is why it is so dangerous to defend with 2 people, if both use boop at the same time, they can only defend with Melee, and are much more likely to mess up (When the game gets stressful/hectic you tend to forget boop has a cooldown.)ĭ. Use Melee to pass and control the ball (against walls for e.g) and to score if you are out of boop. The angle you have in front of the ball will decide how high you will launch it (it takes a bit of time to get a good feel for it) the further you look up while booping the ball (or using Melee) the higher it will go.Ĭ. A decent setup is having someone midfield, one goal and an attacker.ī. When you notice opponents using ults, then is the appropriate time to defend with 2 people. Trust your goalie at least a bit and get offensive, without offense no goal, without goals, no victory. It's pointless and you are much more likely to mess up by booping at the same time and getting a wonky ass ball movement you can't counter when an opponent gets the ball. Don't defend with 2 or 3 people around your goal/inside your half all the time. (ez against bots, some duo spamming spanish nonsense after they scored the first goal (They lost, which felt awesome) "Thanks for the assist bro" (after enemy goalkeeper messed up a defensive shot) and of course the classics "just delete and kys".)Ī. The first one is easy: Don't be a cunt/dick.ĭuring my games this night I met many players on my team or the other saying lots of insulting stuff to teammates and opposing players. ![]() The idea came to me to put a guide here for newer players and those who seek to improve. However, after experiencing the worst games in arcade this season (not copaball). I placed masters in Lucioball last season and was really excited that the gamemode is back again. ![]()
